It's sunny outside but not so much in this house. We woke up and enjoyed a couple of cups of coffee and Lloyd went down to the basement to see how things looked. He came back up and told me the basement is flooded...again! It flooded twice before we actually moved in and we thought we had the problem taken care of but apparently we don't. Wednesday there was only a big puddle and this morning the whole basement is covered! We're thinking it's more of a city issue than our pipes because we tried to use the least amount of water we could yesterday and Lloyd went down last night just before bed and there wasn't any water down there. It stormed last night and now we have a big mess! The plumber wasn't able to make it here yesterday so we're hoping he can get here today. That damn basement! We so had hopes of finishing it so we could have a nice family room and office/bedroom down there and it has been nothing but trouble for us!
My nephew has his city championship baseball game today. I was planning on going but now I'm not so sure I'm going to be able to make it. Go Robert!!!
I checked on the garden this morning and the tomatoes are starting to grow! Everything else is still green and looking good and it looks like the onions are doing pretty well too. I'll have to go out at weed it at some point this weekend.
Well, I'd better get back to that basement and see what else I can help Lloyd with.
