Tex-Mex Taco Dinner

I tried another new recipe tonight. It's tex-mex taco dinner and it was really good!

1 lb. lean ground beef
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 c. chicken broth
1 c. water
2 c. instant white rice
1/2 c. cheez whiz
2 c. shredded lettuce
1 large tomato

Brown meat in a large skillet and drain. Add chili powder, broth and water; stir. Bring to a boil. Stir in rice and cheez whiz; cover. Simmer on low heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve with lettuce and tomatoes.

We didn't have cheez whiz so I skipped that and added shredded sharp cheddar after it had simmered. Still turned out yummy! We put taco sauce and sour cream on it and had tortilla chips on the side.
