We went to more yard sales today and got some really great deals! I had hoped to find a nice play yard for Lauryn and found a great one at the first sale we went to! Lloyd got a table saw that was originally priced at $20, I picked up some jeans and shorts for Lauryn that were supposed to be $2 and when I asked how much the play yard was, the guy said $10, then talked himself right down to $5. When we went to pay, Lloyd offered $20 for everything and the guy said, "Sure!" Gotta love good deals!
We had such a nice time last night. Mom's dinner was great! She used a Hawaiian marinade on the chicken breasts and it was so good. The macaroni salad and corn on the cob were yummy too! It was pretty nice, she came here, brought the food and cooked it on the grill! How nice to have someone come cook for me at my own house :)
No major plans for today. Lloyd is in the basement finishing tearing out the drywall (ceiling), if Lauryn takes a nap I might see if there's anything I can do to help him and I've got a little cleaning to do. Mom left that macaroni salad here, since it's Lloyd's favorite, so I'll probably just throw some burgers on the grill to go with it for dinner.
