Had A Great Time

Yesterday was really fun!  I was nervous because about 10 minutes after we left, I got a stomach ache but it went away about an hour later.  By the time we got there, I was feeling ready to enjoy myself and let loose a little.  The wedding was beautiful...and interesting.  There was a ring duck.  Yes, you read that right, they had a duck come down the aisle with a tuxedo and pillow on his back.  I'm regretting not taking the camera but Lloyd did get some pics on his cell phone.  There ceremony was outside and it was very sweet.  The hall was gorgeous!  The chandeliers were so pretty and there  were big  glass doors  all the way around.  The food was good and the bartender made some yummy drinks with pineapple vodka, pineapple juice and punch.  We danced and laughed and had a great time.  Around 8 pm I had a moment of sadness.  I realized it was the first time since Lauryn was born that I wasn't the one giving her a bath and putting her to bed.  I called my mom and everything was going really well.  She had no troubles at all and Lauryn was already sleeping.  She's offered to watch Lauryn more and I think, now that we've survived it, I'm ready for Lloyd and I to get out more and do more, just the two of us.
