Saturday 9: Wedding Bell Blues

1. If you have been or are married, tell us about your wedding. If you are not, tell us how would you want it to be.

We were married on October 30, 2004. We had a pretty big wedding with lots of family and friends. It was the most special day.

2. What age would you encourage your children to get married?

I don't know that I would have a set age but I would expect that they wait until they are at least in their 20's and are stable. I would hope that they spent a lot of time with the person they chose to marry before getting married, to make sure it was what they really wanted.

3. Who got married at the last wedding that you attended?

I think the last wedding I attended was my brother and sister in-laws wedding. I am actually going to a wedding today though :)

4. Do you enjoy weddings and receptions?

Very much.

5. Have you cried at a wedding?

Pretty much at every wedding I've ever been to, except my own!

6. Would you prefer a lavish event or a intimate ceremony?

I've been to both kinds and both are nice.

7. Have you ever been in some one’s wedding party? If yes, do tell.

I've been a bridesmaid for a few friends and Lloyd and I have been Mistress and Master of Ceremonies.

8. Does a wedding make you happy and sentimental or grouchy and skeptical?

Happy and sentimental.

9. Why do you think our divorce rate is so high?

I don't think people spend enough time getting to know each other before rushing into marriage.
