5 Things to do With Alka-Seltzer:
1. Scrub the toilet ~ Twice a week, drop two tablets into the bowl; let it sit for 15 minutes, then do a once around with the toilet brush.
2. Make an all-purpose cleaner ~ Drop three tablets into 8 oz. of warm water. Once the fizzing stops, you can wipe down tiles, tubs and counters.
3. Deep clean vases ~ Fill with warm water and drop two tablets in. Let soak for an hour to remove stains you can't reach.
4. Safely unclog a drain ~ Drop three tablets into the drain and run hot water for a few seconds - the hotter the water, the more fizzing - Let sit for 15 minutes.
5. Build rockets for the kids ~ Go outside with an empty film canister, filled half way with warm water and drop in a half tablet. Snap on the lid and place the canister lid down. Take a step back and watch it launch!

ReplyDeleteI use Polident (my mother's), not mine in the toilet bowl from time to time, well I used to when we lived in FL, and she left a supply in the bathroom medicine cabinet for when she visited.
