Inside Job
Welcome to Saturday: 9 . What we've committed to our readers is that we will post 9 questions every Saturday. Sometimes the post will have a theme, and at other times the questions will be totally unrelated. Those weeks we do "random questions," so-to-speak. We encourage you to visit other participants posts and leave a comment. Because we don't have any rules, it is your choice. We hate rules. We love memes, however, and here is today's meme!1. When you were young, what did you want to be when you grew up? I always wanted to be a stay at home mom.
2. Did you ever pursue that career?
I worked up from the time I was 16 until I had Lauryn and when we were ready, I went full time at the company I was at so we would insurance.
3. If you are not in that field, what changed?
I am in the "homemaking" field now :)
4. What is your current job?
Wife, mother, homemaker...not Suzy, mind you.
5. What's the best part of what you do?
Being here with my daughter and seeing all her new experiences!
6. Do you have plans to do something else down the road?
When Lauryn (and future baby) go to school, I will either help Lloyd in real estate or I will go back to working in group homes, which I loved!
7. How did you get your present job? About a year and 8 1/2 months ago Lloyd knocked me up :) Just kidding, it was planned that I would stay home after Lauryn was born. If you are a stay at home mom, how long did you need to plan that move? Not long, we knew for a long time that we wanted it this way and when she got here, I was done working (she actually came the day before my last day of work).
8. Did your parents influence your choices of jobs over the years?
My mom stayed at home and I loved that she was always there.
9. What advice would you give your children on careers?Do what you love, do what makes you happy.
What kind of homes do you make? LOL. Great list and have a wonderful Saturday :)
