I think Lauryn had one of her hardest days yet yesterday! It started in the morning. She wanted to sit on her potty, so I took her into the bathroom and helped her get her pajama bottoms off and after a few minutes, I decided to let her sit there by herself and hopefully, she'd use the potty. After about a minute, she came out and wanted to give me hugs and kisses. This is very sweet but it's also what she does in attempt to run around bare bottomed when she's supposed to be on the potty. I gave her hugs and kisses and told her to go back and sit on the potty. She started to go back in to the bathroom, turned around and started getting fussy. I didn't know why she was upset until I noticed a little "sprinkle" on the carpet. I tried calming her down and telling her that it was "okay" and "just an accident" but she was pretty upset. Later, after her nap, she had eaten her lunch really good and we were getting ready to go visit with our neighbors. Lauryn coughed a little and I looked over my shoulder to make sure she was okay and she looked fine and then a minute later, the poor girl threw up all over the kitchen floor! Again, she was upset and crying saying, "Mess, mess!" and I was trying to calm her down and clean it up. I think she has a weak stomach like her mama used to have and even little coughs can mean big trouble. She seemed totally fine after all of that so we went next door to see the neighbors and after just a couple of minutes, Lauryn fell in the driveway and scraped up both knees and both elbows. It was just not her day yesterday!
On a completely different note, I think I'm going to try juicing. I love fruit, but don't eat nearly enough vegetables so I thought I'd give juicing a try and incorporate more vegetables into my diet that way. I'm really excited about it and I like the idea of getting Lauryn into drinking fresh juice and getting more vitamins too! I'm still trying to lose weight and although I did a lot of research before on what are the best diet pills for women, that's just not the route I want to go. If anyone has ever done juicing before, I'd love to get some opinions, recipes, etc. :)
