I DO NOT NEED SWEETS RIGHT NOW!

It's just after midnight and I am fighting a major sweet tooth!  I've been drinking a ton of water, hoping it would make me feel full so the craving would go away but it hasn't worked so far.  I keep telling myself, "I DO NOT NEED SWEETS!" 

I mentioned in an earlier post that one of my New Year's resolutions was to get healthy and to lose weight.  So far, I'm down four pounds.  I cut back on my coffee and creamer, I've been watching my portions and I've been drinking 6-8 glasses of water a day.  The most helpful thing though, is sparkpeople.com.  I LOVE this site!  It helps me keep track of the calories I'm eating, there are support groups for stay-at-home moms who are trying to lose weight, there are groups for people my age who are trying to lose the same amount, a journal, etc.  It has made it so easy for me!  No worries about finding diets pills that work, which I've never taken but have considered, no more feeling guilty because I ate way too much at dinner and seeing the scale go down, even just a little, is making me feel great!
