Hi! I'm Bud Weiser, sitting in for my girlfriend DJ Kathy A today. Kathy is still immersed in the planning of her dad's memorial service and her duties as executor of his will. It's been a crazy time for her. Her dad was a career Navy man and a member of what seems like a thousand civic organizations. Naturally, they all want a chance to speak at the memorial service on April 9th. So you are stuck with me for another week.

Welcome to Rock 'n Roll Fridays. We are like other memes in that we will ask you thirteen questions each and every Friday. But our little "twist" is that each week we will pick a singer, band, era or category and pick thirteen of their songs. Each of our questions will be based on the lyrics. Got it? Great! Let's begin this week's meme!

Today we picked Buffalo Springfield.

I used to have the hardest time telling anyone how I felt about them.

Have you ever been told that you are strange?

Probably.

I don't think so.

Have you ever told someone how you felt and been rejected completely?

No.

How do you feel about Kings and Queens of a country like Great Britain?

I really don't have any feelings about them one way or another.

6. For What It's Worth - There's battle lines bein' drawn.
Nobody's right if everybody's wrong.

A-gettin' so much resistance from behind.

Not in any kind of political demonstration.

Have you ever written a poem? If yes, would you share it with us?

When I was much younger, I used to write poems quite a bit.  A couple for my mom and one for an ex.  I wish I could remember or find that one but I do remember it ended quite funny :)

Have you ever had to deal with someone suffering from depression?

Yes.

9. On the Way Home - When the dream came
I held my breath with my eyes closed

Yes.

10. Burned - Been burned and with both feet on the ground
I've learned that it's painful comin' down

Now I'm finding out that it's so confusin'

Tell us about a time when you realized that you were losing but could not change the outcome.

There was a certain job I'd had and even though there were a lot of unfair things going on there, I really liked what I was doing.  When my boss fired me, it was for a ridiculous reason and I was seriously upset about it but there wasn't anything I could do.

11. Flying On the Ground (Is Wrong) - Is my world not falling down
I'm in pieces on the ground
And my eyes aren't open
And I'm standing on my knees
But if crying and holding on
And flying on the ground is wrong
Then I'm sorry to let you down

Who makes the rules in your home?

We don't have many rules here and the ones we do have are for Lauryn.  I would probably be the rule maker.
