One Tired Mama *Part 2*

Today was another LONG day!  It started off on a good note, watching my sweet little niece, Emma, for a little while.  Then Lauryn and I went to the preschool to turn in her paperwork, got a tour and met some of the teachers.  Lauryn loved it there!  Afterward, we had to take my truck to a friends house to get the brake lines replaced and another friend brought us back home because it was going to take a while.  We had lunch, started some laundry, put together a pan of lasagna for dinner and just after I got Lauryn to lay down for a nap, the CO part of the smoke detector was going off.  I called the fire department and they came out right away.  There was no way Lauryn would sleep through all of that so she got up and watched as they went through the house trying to find a cause for the detector going off.  She thought it was awesome that one of the fire trucks from the parade was at her house!  Silly girl :)  They decided it must have been a fluke and headed out.  My friend called to tell me my truck was done so I called our other friend to come give us a ride again.  We finally got back to the house, I cleaned out the fridge and got the trash ready to go out and then the darn detector went off again.  So I called the fire department and they came back out.  Same thing as before, nothing was registering on their detectors so they figured ours might be faulty.  After they left, I put the lasagna in the oven, Lauryn and I played and did some more laundry.  Now the last load is in the dryer and as soon as it's done, this Mama is going to bed!
