Slow The Heck Down!

The speed limit on our street is 25 mph. but people fly through here and it just makes me nervous!  The neighbors warned me about it when we first moved in because they saw we had a small child and a dog and they sure weren't kidding.  Part of me wants to whip up a couple of cheap yard signs that say "Slow The Hell Down!"  I guess there used to be a stop sign right on the corner by our house but the city took it down and when the neighbors asked them to put it back, the city wouldn't and gave some bull crap reason why the wouldn't.  I just wish I didn't have to worry so much when we're out in the front yard.  We constantly tell Lauryn to stay away from the road but it makes me nervous.
