Slightly Productive

I got a few things I've been meaning to do done today.  One thing I wanted to do came to a screeching halt when I spotted a big, nasty spider though.  The bushes in front of our house are over grown and I thought that I'd try my hand at trimming them.  I figured even though I've never done it before, I couldn't make it look any worse!  I started on the first one and was doing pretty good when I looked over at the second one and saw the freakiest looking spider I've ever seen.  That stopped me in my tracks!



A few people on Facebook commented that these were completely harmless but I don't care.  I am scared of spiders more than anything in the world and there was no way I was going back out to keep working on the bushes.  No freaking way!

After we came back in, I started spray painting the "Live, Laugh, Love" signs and once those are done, they'll go in Lauryn's room.  The colors are really pretty.  The pink is called Ballet Slipper and the green is Celery.  While I was on the phone with my friend, Lauryn fell asleep on the couch and Lucas had already been sleeping.  Both kids asleep is very unusual here and I didn't know what to do with myself!  I started dinner and they both woke up when it was done.  We had blueberry pancakes, fried potatoes and brown sugar baked bacon.  It's been a while since I made breakfast for dinner and it just sounded yummy!  Lucas was a bit of a handful during dinner then fell asleep again a little bit later.  My big plans for the rest of the night are to give both kids a bath, take a shower and maybe get some laundry done.
