The Useless Questions Meme

Welcome back to Sunday Stealing which originated on WTIT: The Blog authored by Bud Weiser. Here we will steal all types of memes from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent memes. You may have heard of the expression, “honor amongst thieves”. In that age-old tradition, we also have our rules. First, we always credit the blog that we stole it from and we will “fess up” to the blog owner where we stole the meme. We also provide a link to the victim's post. (It's our way of saying "Thanks!") We do sometimes edit the original meme, usually to make it more relevant to our global players, to challenge our players, sometimes to select that meme's best questions, or simply to make it less repetitive from either this new meme or recently asked questions from a prior featured meme. Today we ripped off a blogger named Vicky from the blog Books, Cats and Tech. It was called “The 100 Useless Questions Meme”. They did not lie. We just took the ones that were less useless than the others. She does not explain where she got it. But, it was probably stolen there as well. So, of course, that will be as far as we go. Sunday Stealing: The Useless Questions Meme

·          Have you ever written a song?  Not really.  I just make up silly songs to sing to the kids :)

·         Have you ever been in the opposite sex's public toilet?  Once or twice, when absolutely necessary.

·         Are you superstitious?  No.

·         What's the most daring thing you've done?  Having children...LOL

·         Did you have a baby blanket? Do you still sleep with it?  I didn't have a security blanket.  I had baby blankets and they are in my sweetheart chest along with other special things from my childhood.

·         Have you ever tried to cut your own hair? If yes, how’d it work out?  I used to trim my bangs and it would turn out ok.

·         Have you ever sleepwalked?  No.

·         If you could be any age, what age would you be?  26

·         What is your dream car?  I don't have a dream car.  I guess I could say a car that I would never have to worry about something going wrong with it.  Does that even exist?

·         What is your favorite cartoon of all time?  I watched cartoons as a kid but didn't really have a favorite.

·         If you were in a car sinking in a lake, what would you do first?  Since I always have my kids with me, I'd get them out first.

·         Have you ever ridden in an ambulance?  No.

·         How many foreign countries have you visited?  1

·         If you fell into quicksand, would you try to swim or try to float?  Are either of those things possible in quicksand?  I always thought it was supposed to slowly suck you down into it.

·         Do you talk in your sleep?  Yes.  Mostly I mumble and giggle but over the years people have told me some pretty funny things I've said.  My husband does too and he talks very clearly and mostly about real estate.  I wonder about the conversations we must have in our sleep :)

·         Have you ever slipped in the bathtub?  Yes.

·         If you could invite any movie star to your home for dinner, who would it be?  Tom Hanks

·         Have you ever re-gifted?  Maybe.

·         If you could attend an Olympic Event, what would it be?  Gymnastics.  I loved watching the girls do their routines when I was young and always wished I could have done something like that.

·         If you could participate in an Olympic Event, what would it be?  Again, gymnastics.  I probably don't have enough coordination or grace to be successful at it though!

·         If you won a $5,000 shopping spree to any store, which store would you pick?  Maybe someplace like Penneys or Target.  Somewhere that I could get outfits for all of us plus household items I've been wanting or needing.

·         What do you think is your best feature?  My eyes.

·         If you were to win an Oscar, what kind of movie would it be for?  A romantic comedy.

·         Which of the five senses is most important to you?  Geesh, that's hard.  I was about to say touch but then I thought of food and was going to say taste, then I thought of my kids and seeing their smiles and hearing their sweet voices...I honestly couldn't pick one.

·         Would you be a more successful painter or singer?  I'm not much of an artist but I LOVE to sing.  Whether I'd be successful with it is debatable :)

·         How many years will/did you end up going to college?  I didn't.

·         Have you ever had surgery?  No.

·         What do you like to collect?  Butterflies.  Not the real things but pretty butterfly decorations.

·         How many collectibles do you have?  Not many.
