Almost Forgot

I almost forgot to update about Lucas's well child appointment.  To begin with, I somehow goofed the appointment time and we ended up being there almost an hour early.  Not fun!  Trying to keep Lauryn occupied and Lucas from crying for that long in a waiting room just plain sucked!  When we finally got in, the nurse took Lucas's temperature and did his height and weight.  He's 15.8 pounds now and is 25" long.  That puts him in the 50th percentile for weight and 30th for height.  That's pretty much the opposite of how it went for Lauryn.  She was always long (tall) and skinny, even as a baby.  Other than the little cough he has, he's very healthy.  We started him on baby food tonight.  He's been eating rice cereal for a couple of weeks now but tonight I gave him bananas.  He loved them!  For the first time, there was hardly anything to clean up as he kept it all in his mouth :)
