The Basement

We really need to get our basement taken care of.  By that I mean that it's a nice finished basement but everything is just kind of thrown down there and we never use it.  It's a great space with a huge family room, a guest bedroom/craft room and a bathroom.  Our dining room has become Lauryn's play room and is always a mess.  Eventually, I'd like our dining room to be an actual dining room and to have the majority of the kids' toys downstairs.  The family room is huge so I'd like to use part of it for the kids to have a play area and the other part for the family room.  There's a fireplace down there and we could make it a nice cozy place.  I was checking out Mantels Direct, looking at different options if we decided to change the fireplace.  It's nice now but someday we might want to update it.  We have plenty of time to make all the changes we want down there but I'd like to get a start on it soon.
