Weekend In Review

 Friday ~ We got up, got ready and headed over to my grandparent's for a long overdue visit.  Afterward, we ran a couple of errands then came back home.  My mom came for a visit and for dinner, after she got out of work and Kathye and Terry also stopped by for a bit so I could help Terry with a purchase on the computer.  We had beef and noodles and biscuits for dinner, using up a yummy roast that I'd made two days before. Saturday ~ I got up and ready early and Kristin and I headed to Greenville for a mom-to-mom sale.  While I did end up getting quite a bit of things for the kids, the prices weren't as good as they were with the last time I went.  I found quite a few things for Lucas but only a few things for Lauryn as most things in her size were meant for spring or summer.  We went to Applebee's for lunch and it was so nice to eat a meal and visit, just the two of us.  The rest of the day was spent doing random things around the house.  A load of laundry here, picking up toys, etc.  I made homemade sloppy joes, au gratin potatoes and cold veggies and dip for dinner. Sunday ~ After Lucas went down for his morning nap, I went down for too.  Lauryn woke me up and told me that Lloyd had made breakfast for us all.  He made French toast, fried potatoes and seasoned bacon.  We talked about putting away the patio furniture soon, since the weather is changing, and maybe getting a french table for the other side of the deck next year.  Lauryn and I ran to the store and the gas station and then the rest of the day was spent being lazy.  I made bow tie pasta with four cheese alfredo sauce and grilled chicken.  It was delicious!
