Basement Ideas

I've been thinking about our basement a lot lately.  I've mentioned before that we have a nice, big basement but it's needs a little TLC to make it into a place we would want to hang out in.  Right now, there is so much stuff that needs to be sorted and either put in a yard sale (next year) or we need to figure out where things need to go.  Once every thing is taken care of, I'd like to get new carpet down there, because what's there is a stained mess from the people who lived here before us.  The main room down there, I'd like to break into two areas.  A relaxing, sitting area by the fireplace and then on the other side, more of a game area.  In sitting area, I'd like a tv, maybe a game system or even a home karaoke system, and then in the game area, we could set up our ping-pong table, or get a pool table someday, and have the majority of the kids toys down there.  It's still a ways away but I think about it all the time.  Maybe by the time we actually get to it, I'll have it all figured out!  :)
