So we found out yesterday that Lauryn has Scarlet Fever. It sounds much scarier than it actually is. It's basically strep throat with a rash. My poor girl :( She's a trooper though! She understood that she couldn't go to her grandparents for dinner and the big Easter egg hunt. Since since was going to miss it, I went out last night and picked up a few more things to put in the eggs for her to find. With as active and hyper as she was today, you wouldn't know anything was wrong!
We had fun with the egg hunt here this morning. Lauryn was finding them the second she came out of her room and didn't want to wait for her daddy to get up. Lucas even "found" an egg :) Then the kids checked out their baskets and played with their new things. Lloyd went to his parents for a few hours and while he was gone, Lauryn and I colored a bunch of eggs. I had planned on doing them last night but thought it would give us something fun to do to pass the time.
I have a few friends who are making different craft items and selling them and I think I'm going to suggest they look into flyer printing at printingamerica.com to get the word out about what they make. One friend makes awesome hats, coasters and can koozies, and another makes coffee cup koozies and jewelry. I'm going to start making more scrubbie and wash cloth sets, once I finish up the letters for Lucas's wall. Maybe we could all go in on some flyers and see if they help get us some sales :)
