Today is my day to play catch up around the house. We had a busy weekend and I didn't get much of anything done. With two kids, it only take a day or two for the house to look like it's falling apart. It's such a nice day too. At least I can have the windows and doors open while I get this place in order.
On Saturday, Lloyd and I got dressed up and headed to Grand Rapids for a reception. We had a really nice time. We were at a table with a lot of fun people, the meal was delicious, we had a couple of drinks and even danced some. :) It was great to be able to get out, just the two of us, and have a good time.
On Sunday we went to Lloyd's parents. We stopped by the house Lloyd and his dad are buying and then went back and had dinner with them and his aunt and uncle. His Grandma stopped by just a little while before we had to go. We had a really nice visit with them all.
Pinterest has gotten me wanting to try so many new crafts these days. There's a burlap table runner I'd like to make and some really fun crafts I want to try with the kids this summer. It's become one of my favorite sites because of all the great ideas people share.
