Sunday Stealing

the three wishes meme

Welcome back to Sunday Stealing which originated on WTIT: The Blog authored by Bud Weiser. Here we will steal all types of memes from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent memes. You may have heard of the expression, “honor amongst thieves”. In that age-old tradition, we also have our rules. First, we always credit the blog that we stole it from and we will “fess up” to the blog owner where we stole the meme. We also provide a link to the victim's post. (It's our way of saying "Thanks!") We do sometimes edit the original meme, usually to make it more relevant to our global players, to challenge our players, sometimes to select that meme's best questions, or simply to make it less repetitive from either this new meme or recently asked questions from a prior featured meme.  Let's go!!!

Today we ripped off a blogger named regular player, Kwizgiver,  from her blog What If This Is As Good As It Gets?   She doesn't say where she got it--but it was probably stolen from somewhere cool.  Tracing back the thefts of those that we steal from could take a while. So, of course, that will be as far as we go. Link back to us at Sunday Stealing!
The Wish List Meme, part one

1.) What are 3 things on your Wish list and why?

First and foremost, that my kids will grow up to be happy, healthy, kind, respectful and successful people.  The next two are more materialistic:  a new camper, because ours is old and small and there are some awesome ones out there, and to get our house done.  Our house is very nice but there are some changes we want to make and I have no patience :)
2.) What do you miss about your childhood?

No stress.
3.) What do you do on your spare time on the weekends?

Play with the kids, spend time with family.
4.) What do you appreciate most in your life?

My husband.  If it weren't for him, I wouldn't be able to be a SAHM, our kids wouldn't have the things they need and more and my life probably wouldn't have turned out to be as amazing as it is.
5.) Would you rather be rich or healthy?

Healthy!
6.) If you could go back in time would you and why?

There are three choices/mistakes I've made in my life that have either hurt someone I love or was just a decision I deeply regretted.  I try not to live in the past but if I could, I would go back and do things differently for each situation.
7.) Favorite game as a child?

Freeze tag.
8.) What is your dream career?

Being a SAHM was what I always wanted to be.  Some say it's not a "career" but I feel I've never worked harder at anything in my life and it's more rewarding than any other job I've done.
9.) What do you do in your free time?

Talk with friends, crochet, read.
10.) Favorite clothing stores?

Kohl's.
11.) What TV shows can't you live without?

The Golden Girls, America's Next Top Model and Sex and the City
12.) 3 things you need in your life are:

My husband, my kids and my mom.
13.) What can't you sleep without?

My body pillow.  I never used to need it but after having Lucas, I got so used to it that I still use it every night.
14.) What are you currently a nerd for?

I'll always be a nerd for reading.
15.) What is your favorite seasoning?

Montreal Steak Seasoning
16.) What is your favorite wild animal?

Our cat :)  She's about as wild as it gets :)
17.) Name 3 of your favorite childhood shows:

Punky Brewster, The Cosby Show, The Wonder Years
18.) If you could live as a character in a movie who would it be?

Drew Barrymore in The Wedding Singer...It was the first movie that popped in my head.
19.) Favorite vegetable?

Celery
20.) Favorite Fruit?

Watermelon

Talking with my friends :)
25.) Do you have a middle name?

Yes.

  3. I think being a SAHM would be my dream career too, even though I currently don't have any kids. I cared full time for my friend's kids for a while, and I loved it, but I agree, I too never worked so hard in my life!

  7. Katie ~ I pray my kids will have a stress-free childhood. All children should have that! Unfortunately it doesn't always work that way but I will do what I can to make sure they enjoy these years to the fullest!
