Father's Day

I think Lloyd had a nice Father's Day :)  As soon as everyone was up, we gave him his gifts and cards.  Then I made breakfast.  We had waffles with peanut butter syrup, maple smoky links and fried potatoes.  In the afternoon, we went to Lloyd's parents house.  We had a very nice visit and a very yummy meal.  There was so much to eat!  Burgers and dogs on the grill, homemade mac and cheese, corn on the cob, I brought loaded baked potato salad, pickle wraps and strawberry shortcake for dessert.  I didn't have any room for that though :)  We took turns playing badminton, visited for a while and then headed home.  After the kids were in bed, my friend Kathy stopped by to show me her new haircut and color.  She got really pretty highlights and a cute, trendy cut :)  She was only here a few minutes but somehow we went from talking about her hair to a friend who needs an immigration attorney.  You never know where our conversations will go!  The rest of the night was spent relaxing and watching movies.  It was a pretty great day :)
