Great Day!

After having such a crummy day yesterday, it was nice to have such a great day today!  I started off with an early morning walk with Lucas.  We went 2 1/2 miles.  When we got back, I rested for about an hour and then got up and got ready.  Kristin came to get me so we could meet up with Abbie for lunch at Applebee's.  It was so nice to catch up!  Shortly after I got home, my mom brought Lauryn back (she had a sleepover at Nana's) and was excited to give me the homemade lotion they had made for me.  After giving the kids a quick dinner, doing baths and getting Lucas to bed, Lauryn, Lloyd and I had a bonfire.  We had s'mores and hot dogs.  There was a beautiful sunset and even some pretty cool fireworks being done by the people down the road, which we had a great view of.  After I got Lauryn to bed, I went back out and my sweet hubby put on our song and asked me to dance by the fire.  *Sorry for putting that out there babe :) *  We talked and had a few drinks but after getting quite a few mosquito bites, I was ready to head in.  Today was just what I needed!
