It's That Time Of Year
It's time to update the prescription on my glasses again. I've had to do it every year since I was little and even though the doctor says one day it will stop, I'm always worried that I'll just eventually go blind. In the last couple of years, the change hasn't been as drastic as it used to be, so that's good. I've been getting headaches frequently and that's when I know it's time for an update. I realized I don't have a back-up pair of glasses anymore. I got to thinking about it when Lucas was playing and ripped mine off of my face. If something happened to these, I would pretty much be screwed until I got them replaced. My eyes are so bad I wouldn't be able to drive. Heck, I don't even walk to the bathroom in the middle of the night without putting my glasses on, and our bathroom is right next to our bedroom! I've been looking for where to find cheap eyeglasses and have found a few places that I want to look into. I don't need a second pair to be as fancy/expensive as the ones I wear now, just a back-up in case something happened to these. I need to get schedules and appointments figured out so Lloyd can plan on hanging with the kids while I get the exam done.
