There is so much to do this week and I'm feeling a little bit overwhelmed. This usually happens when I have one upcoming event but this week, there's a couple things going on. Tomorrow is Lauryn's Pumpkin Party at school and I have to try to figure out how to fix her costume. When she was playing with the other kids at our friends Halloween party Saturday, two parts of it tore. I have a couple of ideas on how to fix it, and I guess, if I can't make it work, I'll just have to run to Greenville and grab something different. It's an adorable dress though, that she should be able to play dress up with for a while, so I hope I can save it! On Thursday, we have a lunch play date with some friends and their moms from Lauryn's school. I'm really looking forward to that. Then we'll have to come home, get the kids in their costumes, make our pre-Trick or Treating rounds, and then make sure we're back before our friends get here. We're ordering pizza before we head out with the kids. Then it's costumes back on, and going around the neighborhood. When we're done with that, the kids and I will hop in the Trail Blazer and go see Aunt Dereka. :) For a couple of years now, we've been her only Trick-or-Treaters, and I love taking the kids over so she can see their costumes, but I always feel bad because they're pretty whooped by the time we get there. After all the Halloween fun, I have to get the house in shape and get all the food ready for Lauryn's birthday party on Saturday. She wants cupcakes instead of a cake this year and we're doing a taco bar for dinner. There are a lot of little things to do around here, plus I have to help a friend look into louisville homes. I know it will all come together, it always does, but until right before the party, I'll feel a little stressed about it all.
Today is a very special little girls 3rd birthday. Happy Birthday, Emma Elizabeth! I love and miss you tons, and I hope you have a wonderful day!!!
