One Tired Mama

I started a making something new last night for my Pay It Forward project and ended up staying up way later than usual.  We've been up for a few hours now and I still don't really feel awake.  Maybe when it's Lauryn's nap time, it will be Mama's nap time too! :)

I can't wait for this Pay It Forward project to be done with so I can post pictures of what I've made.  I don't know if any of the recipients read my blog so I can't post anything yet.  So far, I've made three things for each person, things I've never made before, and I can't wait to see if they like them or not. 

I got a very good start on getting my craft room organized this weekend.  It's clean, I threw out a bunch of junk but I still have to figure out where I'm going to put a few things and I still have to get curtains and some decorations.  It's looking pretty cute already though!

Craft Room

I've finally started painting my craft room.  It's taken forever to find some time to do it so yesterday I decided to just get started on it and see how far I could get.  Lauryn only took an hour nap so I didn't get as far as I would have like but once she went to bed, I did quite a bit more.  I'm really loving the color.  I can't wait to see the room completely finished!  I want to get some pretty curtains, some baskets for my projects and I've been thinking about getting some wood blinds.  We'll see how it all comes together :)

New Craft Room

A friend of mine recently turned a room in her house into her new craft room.  I told Lloyd I was a little jealous because I would love a craft room and he said that I should turn our office/storage room into my craft room.  I'm the only one who ever uses it anyway, so it makes sense.  We went and bought the paint today.  I decided on a really pretty light shade of green.  Then I think I'm going to get some curtains that have green and purple in them.  I have so many ideas and can't wait to get started.  I've been looking online to get some ideas and have found some pretty neat ones!  I've already taken a few "before" pictures and once I have the room all done, I'll post those with the "after" pictures.

I finally got my recipes book that has 365 recipes for juicing.  I'm really excited about trying them out!  There are a few that really don't sound appealing at all but most of them sound yummy!  I think juicing is going to be a great way to get more vitamins and lose a little weight.  No more looking for quick fixes and finding those "best diet pills" ads.  Those would never work for me anyway because I HATE taking pills!  Once I've tried a few recipes (they have smoothie ones too), I'll share the ones that I think are tasty!
