Happy Valentine's Day!

My husband is the best!  My netbook completely crapped out on me, after being fixed twice, and for Valentine's day, he surprised me with a new (refurbished) one.  I am so happy!  One of the things I love best about netbooks are the size.  I love that they are so small!  Whenever I've used his laptop, it seems huge to me and I was really missing my little computer.  I have such an awesome hubby!

Lauryn was very happy with her Valentine's gifts too :)  She got Dora pj's, gold fish, heart suckers, a singing dog and a Minnie Mouse coloring book.  She loved her card the best.  It had an octopus on the outside that wiggles and dances when you push a button.  I love that she's still at that age where little things like that thrill her! :)

I recently wrote a post about her playing her Dora guitar.  It plays a few songs on it's own but you can play a few notes on it too.  I'm pretty good at hearing a few notes and being able to play a few songs and I'm trying to teach her a few easy songs on guitar.  I haven't quite got it down yet but if I can figure out how to play the chorus of "Lean On Me" on her recorder, I can do this :)

Netbooks

I've been wanting a laptop or netbook for quite a while now.  My very sweet aunt, offered to loan me her netbook so I could try it out.  I am loving it!  Now I REALLY want one!!  It's probably going to take me a while to save for it because there's always some expense that comes up but it will happen :)
