We lost power first thing this morning. It was kind of strange because it wasn't storming or anything. I thought it was going to make for a not so great day because no power equals no coffee maker....AAAAAHHHH! How on earth am I supposed to function without coffee?? We don't have any instant coffee because I used that up a while ago making homemade kahlua :P Thankfully, it was only out for about 45 minutes or so.
It's funny how the little things make you happy. Last night, after Lauryn went to sleep, I gave myself a pedicure. Every time I look down at my feet it makes me smile because my toes look nice :)
I think I'm going to throw some steaks, potatoes, corn on the cob and ciabatta bread on the grill tonight. In my opinion that's the perfect meal because the only dishes afterward are plates and silverware, no pots and pans :) Gotta love that!

ReplyDeleteYou coffee drinkers...I tell ya...it's almost like a need for sex LOL. Good for the pedicure...hope you got all the hair off them there knuckles on your toes. And your dinner, of course sounds great...but to make it even better...use paper plates, forks knives and spoons...then no dishes at all LOL Have a great Tuesday
