Friday ~ Lauryn and I picked mom up from work, dropped her off at her apartment, then went to the store to pick up a few groceries. Mom came over a little bit later and had dinner with us. We had bourbon glazed ham steak and baked potatoes on the grill. Kathye came over for a short visit and then Lloyd and I hung out in the evening.
Saturday ~ Lloyd's dad's birthday is next weekend but his parents will be gone camping so we had them and his brother over to celebrate it early. We had a nice visit, his aunt and uncle also stopped by for a little while and Kathye came over too. We had burgers and New York strip steak on the grill, loaded baked potato salad, country style beans and the frozen strawberry dessert (see recipes). Lloyd, his dad and his brother played a ton of horseshoes. We visited with our neighbors for a little while before going in and getting Lauryn ready for bed. The rest of the night was spent vegging out.
Sunday ~ We were all a little tired from the day before so we relaxed most of the day. I ran to the store in the early evening and we had leftovers from Saturday for dinner.
