Who knew potty training could be so darn frustrating? I don't believe in forcing it, because I think that truly would just make matters worse, but I have been encouraging as much as I can and Lauryn just doesn't seem interested at all. She likes wearing big girl underwear, she likes to sit on her potty but she has no interest in actually using it. We bought the potty about a year ago and she has used it a few times but I think it was more accidental than intentional. I just bought her some big girl underwear that has a little extra "padding" to help keep accidents from being a mess all over. So far, I'm not impressed. I'm trying to stay patient and not let Lauryn see my frustration but it's hard. I know we'll get there but I guess I was expecting it to go easier.
I was talking to my cousin this weekend and he mentioned taking tests online. I think it's great that colleges offer classes online and there are online universities now. I know a lot of stay at home moms who have been able to work toward degrees and still have plenty of time to take care of the children and their homes.
