Weekend In Review

Friday ~ Cleaning in the morning and a trip to the dollar stores.  Then mom came over after work for dinner and a visit.  We had yummy Sheryl Crow's chicken tacos and guacamole.  Then mom and I ran to Greenville to pick up her free 8x10 picture.  The rest of the evening was spent relaxing.

Saturday ~ We took my truck in to get new tires then Lauryn and I came back home while Lloyd had an appointment.  When he got back, we picked up the truck and ate lunch.  We ran to the store to pick up some groceries for our Father's Day meal on Sunday.  Lloyd did some yard work while I tried to get Lauryn down for a nap.  In the afternoon, we were out in the backyard and Lloyd put the camper back there so we could set it up and it would be easier for me to clean it out and get it all stocked up and ready for camping.  I weeded the garden and Lauryn helped me water it.  We relaxed in the evening.

Sunday ~ Lloyd made a delicious breakfast of pancakes, fried potatoes and smoky links.  Then it was cleaning and getting ready for Lloyd's parents and his brother to come over for a Father's Day get together.  When they got here, we visited for a bit and Lloyd and his brother played some horse shoes.  Then I made New York strips and hot dogs on the grill.  We had a pasta salad, pickle wraps, watermelon and cheese with it.  Everything turned out pretty good :)  We visited a little more, talked about setting up the camper on our first trip, water pumps, etc., then everyone went home.  Lloyd and I cleaned up the back yard and put everything away.  Lauryn helped me water the garden and the flowers, then we had a little water fight.  It was a lot of fun :)  By the end of the day, we were all pretty tired.
