Friday ~ Lloyd stayed home from work, which he NEVER does, and we didn't do a whole lot in the morning. In the afternoon, Lauryn had a doctor appointment. She's very healthy and the nurse's and doctor were very impressed with how well she talks and how much she understands. Of course, I am one proud Mama! We ran to the store and picked up a few things for dinner, then Lloyd went to do a little work on the old house to get it ready for the renters. My mom came over and we had grilled ham and cheese sandwiches with fries and pickles for dinner. We haven't had a "Nana Friday" in a while and it was nice! :) We got to talking about a friend who needs a little help financially and how we think it would benefit her to check into getting debt help from http://www.debtrelief.com. I've heard that it's a good place to look into. Saturday ~ We got ready and headed to Lloyd's parents house to eat dinner and trade presents. Lauryn was so excited and wore an adorable dress that her grandparents got her. We ate lots of good food and everyone was spoiled with gifts. We came home and got Lauryn ready for bed so Santa could visit :) Sunday ~ Merry Christmas!!! Lauryn came into my bedroom, woke me up and asked if Santa had come and if she could have some juice. I told her yes and yes. :) She was so excited to see all of her presents under the tree and couldn't wait to open them. When we were finished, she was a little disappointed that she didn't get the hairspray that she had asked Santa for. We gave her her stocking and she was overjoyed when she found the hairspray in there. My silly girl :) I wasn't feeling very well so I got a little more sleep before we had to get ready to go back to Lloyd's parents for the big family Christmas party. I still didn't feel great when we left but it's nice to see all the family and of course, there's tons of great food! We didn't end up staying as late as we usually do because my head was pounding and when we got home, we relaxed for the rest of the evening.
