Weekend In Review

 *This was a long weekend so I'm starting with Thursday* Thursday ~ Lloyd left very early for the annual snowmobile trip with the guys in his family.  This day was supposed to be my due date for the baby I lost.  I had a hard time keeping it together in the morning and finally decided to just let it go.  After a little while, I decided I wasn't going to spend the rest of the day dwelling on what could have been so Lauryn and I got ready and ran a few errands.  My very dear friend, Kathy, came to spend the day with us and was more helpful in keeping my mind occupied than she'll ever know.  We had a great visit and laughed A LOT! Friday ~ Lauryn and I headed to the library to pick up a few new books and stopped over at Kathy's to drop off a few things.  We came home, took a little nap and then my mom came over.  Once Lauryn got up, we headed out to Greenville to do a little shopping.  I got some new jammies, some glasses (I keep breaking ours) and Lauryn got a mini pillow pet to match her big one.  The roads were getting bad so we didn't go to as many places as we wanted to.  Mom bought us all some Taco Bell for dinner and we headed back home.  Saturday ~ We were lazy in the morning and then we got ready for a lunch playdate at Burger King with Kristin, Nikki and the kids.  We had a lot of chatting while the kids ran around and played.  In the afternoon, Lauryn and I both layed down again (this pregnancy has me super tired ALL THE TIME!) and then mom came over for another visit.  We ended up picking up some Subway for dinner and mom made us a yummy dessert.  We talked about being excited about finding out the sex of the baby and of our future goals. After the baby is born, I want to get serious about getting into shape.  I want to be a healthy mom and set a good example for my kids.  I'm thinking about joining a gym, like the richmond gym, or just getting together with a few friends who have the same goal. Sunday ~ Yay!!!  Lloyd comes home!!!  Lauryn and I ran a couple of errands and took Lloyd's car to get washed.  Then we picked up the house and got dinner going.  Lloyd got home just before 5 pm and we were all so happy to see him.  He had a lot of fun but was also pretty happy to be home.  I made bbq meatballs, mashed potatoes with gravy and corn for dinner.
