Weekend In Review

Friday ~ In the morning, Lauryn and I ran to the store to pick up a few things for dinner and then came back home to get some cleaning done.  Lauryn seemed a little sluggish and sleepy most of the morning but perked up a little more in the afternoon and was back to normal by evening time.  My mom came over for a visit and dinner.  She's worked so many weekends that we haven't had a "Nana Friday" in ages!  Saturday ~ Did a little laundry in the morning but mostly we just relaxed a lot.  In the afternoon, Lauryn and I headed to my best friends house for a party that her son wanted to have.  We had a really nice time.  There were a lot of kids running around and they all had a great time.  They had an Easter egg hunt and the kids got to put all of their sweets in goodie bags to take home.  It was nice to visit with Kristin, Nikki and Wendy and I got to catch up with a friend from school who I haven't seen in years!  The kids kept pretty occupied so it felt like we could actually visit and talk about all kinds of things.  We talked about our phones, Droids, htc sense, etc., funny things our kids have said, recipes and everything in between.  Lauryn and I both had a great time. Sunday ~ I didn't feel well at all in the morning.  I laid back down for a bit to try to feel better.  When I got up, Lloyd was on the phone with his aunt and she was telling him that his mom had been in an accident.  We got ready, took Lauryn to my moms and headed to Lansing to see how his mom was.  We didn't know what condition she was in so when we got there and found out she was ready to go home, we were thrilled.  We took her and Lloyd's dad back home and stayed for a while.  She's going to be very, very sore but thankfully, she's all right.  We picked Lauryn up in the evening and came home to find Cloz'r was naughty again.  She'd gotten in to the trash and dragged it all over the house.  After cleaning that up, Lloyd and Lauryn went outside while I tidied up in the kitchen.  We spent the rest of the evening relaxing and watching our Sunday night shows.
