Weekend In Review

 Friday ~ After dropping Lauryn off at J.J. and Millie's, I headed to Grand Rapids to pick up Lloyd and go to the hospital for a non- stress test and to get the amniotic fluid checked.  Everything looked fine.  I came back into town, dropped some paper work off at Lauryn's preschool and went to pick her up.  *Thank you, J.J. and Millie for watching her :) *  After a little visit, Lauryn and I headed to the grocery store to pick up a few things for dinner.  My mom came over for dinner and a visit.  We had N.Y . strip steaks and corn on the cob.  Everything turned out pretty yummy! Saturday ~ Lauryn and I went to Grand Rapids and grabbed lunch at Fazoli's.  Then we headed to Kohl's to pick up a couple of nursing bras, a shirt and necklace and Lauryn got two new dresses.  Shortly after we got home, the neighbor girl came over to play.  She and Lauryn were here for a while, then went next door and then came back for a bit.  Lloyd came home from his horseshoe tournament and we grabbed some McDonald's for dinner. Sunday ~ I didn't sleep well so a little while after I got up, Lloyd kept Lauryn busy so I could get more rest.  They mowed the lawn, sanded and painted the door to Lucas's room and did a lot of stuff around the house.  After my nap, I swept and mopped the dining room, made the beds, did some laundry and vacuumed.  Lloyd made a delicious breakfast of pancakes, bacon and potatoes for dinner.  Monday ~ We got up, got ready and headed to Lloyd's parents.  Shortly after we got there, we all headed to the cemetary for the Memorial Day service.  Lauryn did so good!  She kept her little hand over her heart when the band prayed and the booms of the 21 gun salute didn't scare her.  We went back to Lloyd's parents for a little while then we all headed downtown for the parade.  Lauryn got tons of candy!  She loves seeing the fire trucks, bands and especially her Grandpa driving his classic car.  We stayed for a little while after the parade but the heat was really starting to me so after Lauryn did some of the bouncy slides, we came home.  I got a little rest and cooled off.  For dinner we had BLT's, chips, homemade pickles and cheese.  The rest of the night will be spent relaxing!  :)
