Weekend In Review

 Friday ~ I dropped Lauryn off to stay with my sister-in-law for a little bit while I headed to Grand Rapids.  I stopped in at Lloyd's office and then we headed to the hospital for another non-stress test and AFI.  This time, the ultrasound tech showed us more and took a couple of pictures for us.  The AFI levels looked good but when we went for the NST my blood pressure was up again.    I'm glad Lloyd can go to these appointments with me.  This one took longer because they couldn't get a good read on the baby at first and it's nice having Lloyd there to keep me company.  We were talking about getting term insurance without medical exam and it made the appointment go by faster.  After the appointment, I headed back home to pick up Lauryn and visited with my sister-in-law for a bit.  Then I ran a couple of errands with my mom and came back home to make dinner. Saturday ~ Our friends daughter just graduated and we went to her open house down at the park.  As soon as we got there, the weather turned very windy and very chilly.  We still had a nice time and got stuffed on the yummy taco bar they had set up.  Lauryn loves running around playing with the older girls and they just adore her too.  When it was time to go, she didn't want to leave.  I tried going to bed early but got really warm while laying in there so I got back up.  I was eating some cookies and milk and suddenly started having contractions.  We timed them but they were very irregular.  They were quite painful though so I called the on-call doctor to see what she thought I should do.  Being that we are 40-ish minutes away, she decided it was best to go in and get checked out.  By the time we got there, it was almost 2 am.  A little after 5 am, they sent us home.  No more contractions but my blood pressure was really high so they wanted to keep an eye on me for a little while.  We got home just before 6 am and were both exhausted.  Sunday ~ My day went a little something like this:  Sleep, eat cereal, sleep, clean bathroom, go to Chinese buffet for dinner, sleep, watch tv, sleep.
