Crock Pot Roast

I tried a new crock pot roast recipe last night and it turned out great!  I'm usually disappointed in the roast recipes I try.  They smell great while they're cooking and then taste bland when they're done.  My mom told me about this recipe a while ago and I found it on Pinterest too.  I also used the juices to make a delicious gravy!  This was such an easy recipe, and I will most definitely make it again!

Here's the recipe:

1 beef roast (3-4lbs)

1 pkg.  Italian dressing mix

1 pkg.  Hidden Valley Ranch dip mix

1 pkg.  brown gravy

1 c. water (I used about 1 1/2 c.)

Place roast in crock pot.  Mix dry packets with water and pour over roast.  Cook on low for 6-8 hours, until roast is tender.

  1. I've made this as well this week! I used 2 C of water. It tasted fabulous..I thought it was a bit salty though. My family loved it! Definitely had lots of flavor, which is great.
