Weekend In Review

Weekend In Review

To share your weekend, please visit Jodi at:

Friday ~ Planned a play date with Cary, Robyn and the kids at Burger King, then we were going to come back to my house to visit.  On my way to B.K., I got a text from Nikki saying that she and Kristin were going to take their kids there too.  We ate lunch, the kids played for a bit then we headed back here.  I love hanging out with those girls!  Never a dull moment!  Shortly after they left, mom came over for "Nana Friday."  We had a nice visit and yummy chicken tacos for dinner.  Kathye stopped over for a few hours in the evening and she showed me some ankle bracelets she had made.  They were a tad long for me but it turns out, that Lloyd makes an excellent ankle bracelet model!  :)  (Sorry, Babe :) )

Saturday ~ I took a nap in the morning and then picked up around the house.  In the afternoon I went out and cleaned my flower bed.  We decided to take the kids out to dinner and that we thought Lauryn might like to have a pet fish.  So we got ready and went to Big Boy for dinner.  Lucas was in a wild mood and it definitely made dinner interesting!  Afterward, we went to Meijer to pick up a few things for the bon fire we were having later and we picked up a fish bowl, rocks, a fake plant, fish food and "Goldie."  Lauryn was thrilled!  Shortly after we got back, our friends Kathy and Eddie came over for the bon fire.  We had hot dogs, chips and s'mores.  Kathy brought some watermelon moscato and it was good!  We were out by the fire until 3 am!  We had such a great time and laughed a ton!

Sunday ~ Since we were up so late, when Lucas woke up at 7 am, I was still whooped!  When Lloyd got up a couple of hours later, I went back to bed for a bit.  Neither of us had much energy all day.  Kathye stopped by to bring me a necklace she made for me.  I had the butterfly charm but didn't care for the cord it was on so she took it home with her to make a new one for me.  It turned out awesome!  Lauryn's friend, Sophie, from next door, came over and played for a while.  I made lasagna for dinner and she stayed to eat and to play for a couple of hours.  After we got the kids to bed, we spent the rest of the evening reading and watching a little tv.
