Weekend In Review

Friday ~ I cleaned a little in the morning, ran some errands and then my friend, Kathy, came to spend the day with us.  We always have lots of fun and interesting conversations.  I made creamy crock pot chicken with rotini noodles, Caesar salad and Asiago cheese bread with butter.   Saturday ~ Lauryn's friend, Sophie, came over for a few hours and I cleaned while they played.  In the evening, my mom came over to watch the kids so Lloyd and I could go out to eat and I could finally get my tattoo.  We went to Brann's and shared the onion straw loaf.  I had their delicious Sizzling Steak Salad and Lloyd had a steak with a baked sweet potato and macaroni and cheese.  We left the trail blazer there and walked to the tattoo shop, since it was only a block away.  I got my tattoo, which you can read about in my here, and then we came home.  Mom visited for a little while and then Lloyd and I just relaxed for the rest of the evening. Sunday ~ We got up, got ready and headed to Sumner for the Malek Family Reunion.  The park is really nice and it was a beautiful day for it.  We had lots of good food, spent time with family, and had lots of laughs during the auction.  They hire an ice cream truck to come out and everyone gets to get whatever they want.  The kids LOVE that!  When we got home, I cleaned up the kitchen and we didn't do much of anything else the rest of the night.
