Friday ~ Picked Lauryn up from school then came home and cleaned the whole house. I had a small burst of energy, which seems rare these days, so I took advantage of it. Mom came over for "Nana Friday" and we had baked chicken breast tenders covered in Bayou Bourbon Glaze, mashed potatoes and gravy, and corn. Saturday ~ Lauryn spent most of the day at her friend Sophie's house. Lloyd worked around the yard and Lucas and I ran to Greenville to get some shopping done. Lucas rode the tractor for a bit with Lloyd when we got home while I got dinner going. We had shredded chicken tacos and chips with a spicy queso dip. Sunday ~ I tried taking a picture of the kids, for our Christmas card, and it didn't go the way I had planned, but we got a decent picture. Lloyd made pancakes and smoky links for breakfast, I cleaned up, and then we got ready for the day. Our friends, Kathy and Eddie, came and spent the day with us. I made spaghetti, garlic toast, and Caesar salad for dinner and we had a really nice time with them. Once the kids were in bed, Lloyd and I relaxed and watched our Sunday shows.
Fun weekend!! I wish John would make at least one meal, if not all the meals on the weekend...but then again, we would starve! LOL
