What To Do?

I cannot decide what to do today.  Of course there's always some kind of cleaning to get done but it's going to be nice again and I really don't want to spend the day inside.  I'm thinking about taking Lauryn to the park.  Maybe I'll pack us a picnic lunch and we'll head down to play for a while.  I can get the cleaning done later!

It looks like we're getting closer to closing on the house we want.  If all works out, we'll be closing on Friday and I'm really excited about it.  There's still a lot of things that need to be done to this house before we're ready to move and a few things that need to be done to that house but we can't do those unless we own it.  We're still deciding if we want to rent or sell this house.  That aren't a lot of houses for rent here right now and I think that will work in our favor if we choose to go that route.  There's so much going on right now and I'm so excited about it all!

Credit Scores

This is a little off subject from my usual blog posts but being the wife of a real estate agent, this topic comes up quite frequently.  Until I met Lloyd, I had no idea just how important a good credit score was.  I didn't know that it could make a difference in getting loans and buying houses.  I honestly think schools should teach courses in how to keep your credit good and why it is important.  Because of Lloyd, I can guarantee our kids will be well educated when it comes to this matter and I am grateful for that. 

There are ways to get your free credit score online and I think it's smart to take advantage of that and be aware where your credit score is so when you are ready to make a major purchase, like a house, that won't stop you.
