This weather has been absolutely wonderful but being this nice in March makes me nervous! I know this is Michigan and when it comes to weather, anything is possible, but still it makes me wonder what this means for summer. I guess we should just enjoy it while we have it, right?
This probably makes me a bad parent but I don't mind that Lauryn watches cartoons in the morning. She learns with them and I love hearing her count and add and come up with the correct answer before they say it on the cartoon. The downside to her watching them is that I don't get to watch my soap. It's been months and months since I've seen Y&R and I don't have a clue what's going on anymore. I was thinking about downloading a vlc player to my computer to be able to catch up on it but I don't know if it's worth it. I've never really gotten into watching shows on my computer and I wonder if it would take up too much space and make it run slower. I'll have to ask around and see what other people have to say about it.

Cable
Boy do I have a lot to learn about cable! Cable as in cords that run to and from things, that is. Earlier, Lauryn unplugged a cord that connected somewhere from the tv or dvd player and I could not figure out where the cable I needed was supposed to go! There are way too many cords around this house! The same thing happened once when I was in the back office. I accidentally pulled on of the cords from the computer out with my foot and totally freaked out that I had wrecked something and couldn't figure out how to fix it.
I was looking at different sites online to see if there was something that could help me out a little, either to better keep the cables straight and orderly or just a way to minimize the amount of cable we have. I came across the Optimized Cable Company and it looks like they have some things that will help me out. :)

TV
I am so addicted to "reality" tv shows. Everything from America's Next Top Model to Pawn Stars. Actually, I don't know if Pawn Stars is considered a reality show but either way, I love it! I love seeing someone bring in at item like military coins or a Picasso and find it it's either worth much more than they expected or much less. Such drama! Lloyd says it rots my brain but I just can't help it. I don't watch most of the shows that are out there but there are quite a few of them I just can't miss! :)

[Listen] Is there a genre of music you never pictured yourself liking, but have become fond of nonetheless? Are there any genres you still steer away from?
Quite a few years ago, I never imagine I'd ever get into country music. Now I like it as well as any other kind. The only kind I really steer clear of is rap. It's just not for me.
[Watch] Do you ever throw any social events based on viewing something—like movie night, a show-themed party, or a sports-themed party?
Nope...not even a Super Bowl party.
[Read] Where do you aquire most of your books—used from friends, Amazon, going to bookstores, etc.?
Mostly from my mom or friends, yard sales and very occasionally at a book store.
