Happy Birthday, Lloyd!!!

Today is my amazing husbands birthday!  He left early for work this morning and Lauryn and I got ready and headed out shortly after.  Today I had my glucose test and I had to drink that sickeningly sweet orange drink before we left.  We picked Lloyd up at his office and headed to my doctors.  The good news is that Lucas's heartbeat was a good, strong 156 and I'm measuring right on target.  The bad news, I failed my glucose test and now I have to go in and take the three hour one.  Ugh!  It wouldn't be so bad but I have to stay at the lab the whole time and if I can't figure out what to do with Lauryn, she'll have to go with me.  How on earth am I going to keep Lauryn busy for three hours in a waiting room!  Anyway, after my appointment, Lauryn and I took Lloyd to Applebee's for lunch.  The three of us rarely get to do anything like that together so it was pretty nice to sit down and enjoy a meal out.   After lunch, we dropped Lloyd back off at his office and Lauryn and I headed to Greenville to pick up a few things at the store.  When we got home, we baked Lloyd's birthday cake, got his gifts wrapped and his cards filled out. :)  My mom came over when she got out of work and we had a nice visit.  A little after she left, Lauryn and I headed outside and played on her swing set for a while.   Once we got to cold we came back in and then Lloyd got home.  He opened his presents, we ate dinner and since we were all pretty stuffed, we lit the candles on Lloyd's cake, sang "Happy Birthday," Lloyd and Lauryn blew out the candles and made a wish but none of had any room to eat it!  LOL  There's always tomorrow!  The rest of the evening has been spent relaxing and catching up on online stuff.  After the great day we had, it was nice to check my email and see a message sent from triangle direct media.  That always makes my day!
