Friday ~ It was a busy, busy day! The kids and I ran errands and got all the food we'd need for Lauryn's party. The rest of the day was spent cleaning the house. Lloyd got home and he helped a ton! I'm so lucky to have a husband who cares and wants to help out where he can. Saturday ~ Lauryn's Birthday! Shortly after she woke up, she opened her presents. We got ready for the day and I got the food ready for the party. Shortly after everyone got here, Lauryn's big surprise came. She was thrilled to find out that we'd hired a face painter for her party. It was so much fun for all of us to get our faces painted! The taco bar went over really well, the kids loved their party bags and, of course, the cupcakes and ice cream. Lauryn got a lot of really nice gifts and had the best day! After every one left, we got the kids ready for bed and they passed out, without making a peep. 
Sunday ~ It was a pretty lazy day. Lloyd did some yard work, Lauryn played with Sophie for a bit, I did a little more clean-up from the party and we spent the rest of the day playing with the kids. We had leftover tacos for dinner and watched some tv in the evening. It was a pretty great weekend! :)
